Sungguh indah pintu dipahat,
Burung puyuh di atas dahan,
Kalau hidup hendak selamat,
Taat sellau perintah Allah.


Halia ini tanam-tanaman,
Ke Barat juga akan rebahnya,
Dunia ini pinjam-pinjaman,
Ke akhirat juga akan sudahnya.


Belatuk di atas dahan,
Terbang pergi ke lain pokok,
Hidup mati di tangan Tuhan
Kepada Allah kita memohon.


Ramai orang menggali perigi,
Ambil buluh lalu diikat,
Ilmu dicari takkan rugi,
Buat bekalan dunia akhirat.


Pak Kulup anak juragan,
Mati diracun muntahkan darah,
Hidup di dunia banyak dugaan,
Kepada Allah kita berserah.


Letak bunga di atas dulang,
Sisipkan daun hiasan tepinya,
Banyak berdoa selepas sembahyang,
Mohon diampun dosa di dunia.


Inderagiri pasirnya lumat,
Kepah bercampur dengan lokan,
Sedangkan Nabi kasihkan umatnya,
Inikan pula seorang insan.


Kulit lembu celup samak,
Mari buat tapak kasut,
Harta dunia janganlah tamak,
Kalau mati tidak diikut.
